Electronic storage lock
At OMANN, you have the option to use an electronic lock for our cabinets with doors – not for tambour cabinets, mobile pedestals, and sliding door cabinets. The electronic lock can be used together with locks for doors, copiers, etc., as long as the system is based on Mifare! Mifare is the future of electronic locks; and the locks are opened using key cards. The programming can be done in two ways, either with a master card or a software solution.
The master card is used for smaller solutions with few locks. The master card determines whether a given key card may open the lock. Thus, mobile phones can also open the lock, as long as the mobile phone has NFC enabled. The lock must be purchased together with a master card per location (building) and as many key cards as needed.
The software solution is used for larger installations and many users. The advantage here is that, from a central point, you can control which cards have access to which locks. The collection of information from the locks and the programming of the locks are done via a mobile phone, which currently can only be Android. With this solution, mobile phones cannot be used as key cards.
